Now here's a trail ready, calm, gentle, sweet, beautiful mare! "April" doesn't have a worry about anything. She has been on trails with dogs, 4-wheelers, guns, deer jumping out....and didn't care. We rode her in a Christmas parade, with a fire truck directly in front of us, SIREN wailing, and she was as calm as can be. Not spooky! "April's" saddle gait is that of the old time Rocky, even 4 beat amble gait, what is called a "daisy clipper". But, she isn't lazy. She likes to go for a ride. She will go through water, over bridges, front on the line, back of the line, & stands tied quietly on a picket line. She goes where you point her. She loads, unloads, baths, comes in when called, loves attention, stands still for mounting and dismounting. She gets along well with all of my horses, and isn't pushy at all. She has a negative coggins and UTD on everythihng.
"April" is a proven broodmare, with one chocolate filly to date. We are selling her open.
My 8 yr. old son has been riding her, and I take her along as an extra horse for novice riders to go on the trails with us. In fact, she has also been in a child's summer camp this year, and was the favorite horse there. Children from 8 yrs-15 yrs. old were riding her. She has been my son's horse, but he has started racing seriously, and doesn't have the ambition to ride anymore. So, we are offering April for sale at $3500.
