Ashley was trail ridden all fall/winter 2006. She loves water and will tackle any river or lake. She will lead with a confident rider. And always the first to come when called. She loves attention of any kind. Ashley had her first baby June 2007. Her baby is a chocolate with dapples starting to show through her coat. Ashley is a great mom, protective and lots of milk. She allowed all of the kids to come into her stall to pet her new baby. Her filly, who we call "Flirt", has the same amazing disposition as her mom. Ashley is 15H and a stocky mare with good feet and doesn't need shoes. She is registered with the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Assoc. as an Appendix mare. This means that if she foals a colt, he must be gelded in order to be registered. All fillies will be registered. We also tested her color genetics with the UK, and the results were EeAA. Which means breeding to a cremello or perlino stallion, she will give you BUCKSKIN. Ashley would be a great addition to any breeding farm looking for temperament and color. Or just enjoy her for trail riding. Ashley is UTD on vaccines, coggins, feet trimmed evey 6-8 weeks, loads, unloads, bathes, and stands tied.
